According to a background investigation conducted by GF ICON, the leaked videos involving a 14-year-old girl and five male students reportedly occurred about a month ago in Asutsuare, a town in the Shai Osudoku District of the Greater Accra Region.

Residents in the town told GF ICON that, the family may not take action regarding the matter because they believe poverty may have influenced the girl’s situation.

Some residents also alleged that this was not the first time such an incident had occurred. They claimed that previous attempts to involve the police were unsuccessful because the girl’s mother resisted such actions and allegedly described the girl as a source of income.

In addition, some residents made claims that the girl was possessed by a spirit and that anyone who tried to take action against her would either die or suffer serious illness. These claims, however, remain unverified.
